Orders should be handed off to customers upon delivery unless the order card displays a Drop-off label, indicating the customer requested a door drop-off when placing their order, or the customer has communicated to you that they would like their items dropped off.*
*Note: Orders containing alcohol cannot be drop-off orders and should always be delivered directly to the customer, where shoppers will verify a valid ID and collect the customer's digital signature.
If a customer requests you leave their order at the door, you may place bags carefully and safely in a place where they do not obstruct the doorway and then message them to inform them their order has been delivered.
After placing the bags at the drop-off location, you may send the customer a message informing them their order has been successfully dropped off. It is also recommended to send a photo of the order at their door for proof of delivery.
